Investigating forms of presentation of the Artistí Book.

The book on the table. /// The closed archives. /// The book in a box. /// The open archives. ///
The book on the shelves. /// The book underfoot. /// The book on the ground.
/// The book in an intimate space. /// The book as installation. /// The book in a working space. ///
The book as an object to walk around. /// The book as a concept for a space.

Vesta Kroese (1979) is educated as an architect at the Technical University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. As a freelancer and working independently she works on the verge of architecture and visual arts. Her interest expresses itself in the experiences of the individual in the (landscape) surroundings and the questioning of our physical relation to the space. Since 2008 beside the (contemporary) buildings she makes graphics and sculptures. ďAs long as I remember Iím making booklets according to an idea, project or certain experience. It is the direct, intimate and physical 1:1 experience of the user, with the book as an object, idea or story that attracts me. As it were a building or world in which you can enter any place and moment of the day.Ē
