Investigating forms of presentation of the Artist’ Book.

The book on the table. /// The closed archives. /// The book in a box. /// The open archives. ///
The book on the shelves. /// The book underfoot. /// The book on the ground.
/// The book in an intimate space. /// The book as installation. /// The book in a working space. ///
The book as an object to walk around. /// The book as a concept for a space.

“As an illustrator my handwriting with pen and ink play an important role in the recognizability of my work. By means of this own handwriting I try to reach or inform the visitor about the subject of the illustrations. In here the narrative character often plays the overtone. It will show itself in several layers of drawings that symbolize the story or concept.

The illustration mostly gets its strength by a pair of basic colours. With these colours I bring the emotion and sphere in the illustrations. Themes that often play a role in my work are: war, love, nature, letters and human relationships. Each illustration that I design is personal and specifically designed.

Ground for my work is the illustration and that manifests itself in several disciplines as patterns for fashion and interior. And in my free work to publish or exhibit.”
